Find Opticians
If you are experiencing any problems with your eyesight or are due an eye exam, find your local opticians using the list below and book an eye test. The NHS suggests that people should have their eyes tested once every two years however, if there is a history of eye problems and disease (such as glaucoma & diabetes) in your family, it may be necessary to have more frequent appointments.
If your wear glasses or contact lenses and would like to know more about laser eye surgery, visit the laser eye surgery guide.
It is important that you have your eyes tested every two years, or more often if there is a family history of diabetes or glaucoma, or of you are over the age of 70 years. Below you can find a list of opticians in London.
At your local opticians you may be offered the following:
- Eye Tests involving an internal & external exam
- Contact Lenses
- Spectacles
- Sunglasses
- Safety Eyewear
It is important that everyone has regular eye tests as vision can deteriorate very slowly and you may not be aware of any changes. You may also have specific problems with your eyes and vision which can only be detected with an eye exam.
If you would like to know more about laser eye surgery, complete the form on the right and an advisor will contact you. You can also call your local opticians if you have any problems with your eyesight or woud like to know more about buying and wearing glasses or contact lenses.
