Does liposuction remove cellulite?
Find Cosmetic Surgery Clinics »
Technically no. Liposuction in the traditional sense has no impact on the skin above it. However laser liposuction and UAL have both reported improvements in the cellulite around where the liposuction was performed. It is believed that they help to increase your collagen production, stimulating the skin cells to produce it so that it then affects the skins appearance on top. This is likely, but there is little real evidence to support the idea. Cases have been found where cellulite has been lessened post-liposuction.
