Can I still wear fashion colour contacts after Laser Eye Surgery?
Yes this is not a problem. Laser eye surgery reshapes the surface of your cornea, which is the front of your eye using a laser. Once the operation has finished you will be given instructions as to how to care for your eye. These include using drops to help prevent it getting infected until it heals. This can take up to 2 weeks before the cornea heals and up to a few months before your vision is as good as possible. Once your cornea has healed you will be able to wear your fashion contact lenses again, as long as your eye is well lubricated and you don’t suffer from dry eye. If you do, you may need to use artificial tears to help prevent your eye from being irritated.
