Taking the Morning After Pill & Alcohol
Buy the Morning After Pill & Read the Guide
Drinking alcohol before or after taking the morning after pill will not affect its use, and does not increase your chances of getting pregnant. It is not recommended to drink after taking the pill, although no risks have yet been noted.
Alcohol can, however, put you in greater risk of needing to use the morning after pill in the first place. A common reason for women using the morning after pill is due to having sex after drinking and forgetting to use contraceptive methods.
