Hypersomnia
Hypersomnia is an inability to stay awake, the sufferer experiences uncontrollable sleepiness during the day and often disturbed night’s sleep. Narcolepsy is a type of hypersomnia. It is the complete opposite of insomnia as you sleep “too much” if you suffer from hypersomnia. It is important to try and establish the root cause of your hypersomnia before treatment begins. Evidently, it is important that you receive the right diagnosis and fast as untreated hypersomnia could lead to an accident should you be driving for example, when you are overcome with excessive tiredness.
