Melatonin
Melatonin is generally considered a more natural medicine used in the treatment of insomnia. Melatonin is a hormone that tells the brain when it is dark, and it is secreted by the pineal gland. Production of this hormone decreases with age, and therefore a supplement can be provided for this lost melatonin from the pineal gland. It is advised that you seek medical advise before taking this medication and ensure you have the correct dosage for your condition. However, it may be a good idea to try this more natural method before taking any other medication.
