Starting ClearSmile Treatment

After your consultation, if you decide to go ahead with ClearSmile treatment, your dentist will start to draw up your bespoke treatment plan; they will work with you to tailor your treatment plan and show you images of what your smile should look like once you have finished treatment.
ClearSmile is a sophisticated system, which uses advanced technology and software to design your plan; this includes the use of Archwize virtual planning. Archwize software takes all the information related to your teeth and your bite and converts it into a detailed treatment plan, which is then sent to your dentist and shown to you. Once you have approved the treatment plan, your braces will be fabricated.
When your braces are ready, your dentist will fit them and you can start your treatment. To fit the braces, your dentist will bond the brackets onto the teeth individually and then thread the arch-wire through.
Once your braces are in position, your dentist will explain how to look after them and schedule your next follow-up appointment at a time that is convenient to you. In the meantime, if you have any questions or you are struggling with leaning or worried about what to eat, don’t hesitate to get in touch with your dentist.
