Short Term Insomnia
Short-term insomnia last for several weeks and is normally caused if you suffer from a long period of stress e.g. work stress or a bereavement. It is important that you become aware of the fact that you may be suffering from short-term insomnia, as if you begin to worry about the fact that you are not sleeping, this could cause a worsened case of insomnia such as chronic insomnia or psychophysiological insomnia. As you may gather from its name, if you do not let this kind of insomnia become a deep rooted problem then it should only be short-term and should not affect your health too greatly. If you do find that you are suffering from a form of insomnia then do seek medical advice in order to prevent it from developing further.
