Liposuction to the male breasts is one of the most popular forms of male liposuction, along with treatments to the chin, stomach and hips.  By removing the fat from the breast region, a males physical appearance is seriously improved.  You may want to have liposuction in area due to a number of reasons:

Pseudo-gynecomastia – enlargement of the breast due to an above average amount of fat cells but a normal amount of breast tissue

True-gynecomastia – enlargement of the breast due to above average amounts of glandular breast tissue

Hormones – during puberty over half of all boys will experience some growth to their breasts that will even out over time

Illness/Disease – Enlarged breasts have been associated with HIV/AIDS and with drug use for other diseases.

Liposuction of men’s breasts area is most effective for pseudo-gynecomastia, and this is the most common reason for over-large male breasts.  Liposuction deals with the removal of fat cells, and if the problem is due to too much glandular tissues then this would be better dealt with using another form of surgery. 

Liposuction to the male breast is generally performed using a local anaesthetic, with small probes and needles so that any additional tissues can be easily penetrated and removed if necessary.  You can expect almost a 50% reduction to the amount to fat cells within the breast region, although this will not make a significant difference if the problem is due to large quantities of glandular tissues instead of too many fat cells.
