Cost of tooth whitening in Cyprus

In Cyprus, you can have basic bleaching done for one arch (upper or lower set of teeth) for around £70. It is possible yet unlikely that you will find better deals – anything cheaper will probably represent the minimum cost as imposed by the Cyprus Dental Council. Laser teeth whitening starts around £250, an excellent price for such a medically prestigious country as Cyprus; when you consider the UK price is often upwards of £500, you do make a significant saving. The downside is that Cyprus is further afield than places such as Spain and Poland, so flights will cost more and will probably eat up this difference, not to mention accommodation. The argument in favour is that you can get an entire medical holiday, treatment included, in the rich Mediterranean surroundings, for little more than the procedure itself would cost in the UK.

Cost of porcelain veneers in Cyprus

Cyprus is unusual in that while it is possible to make excellent savings on most other dental treatments compared with other European countries, particularly the UK, porcelain veneers are not as cheap. UK prices generally cost £500 and up; by contrast prices in Cyprus tend to hover around the £340 mark. On average, this leaves only the £160 difference to play with, which will in the vast majority of cases not cover the travel and accommodation costs (unless you get extremely lucky with prices). However, prices vary on quality, and it may well be possible to make a far greater saving on top quality veneers when compared with the UK – you will have to enquire yourself about this. Again, a large part of the consideration when travelling to Cyprus for cosmetic dentistry is the overall experience – you may not make a saving, but the price you are forking out will cover the entire holiday as well as the treatment.
