Arm&Hammer are a company well known for selling baking soda. It has used its knowledge in this area to create a range of baking soda toothpastes to make your dental care routine more “therapeutic”. The company’s toothpaste range consists of five varieties, each with its own redeeming qualities.

  • Original Coolmint – This toothpaste has a very strong mint taste. This, most standard of their toothpaste range, relies on the use of baking soda to clean teeth and remove stains in a non-abrasive way as a method of appealing to a broad range of consumers.
  • Brilliant Sparkle – Arm&Hammer claim that this toothpaste removes upto 88% more plaque that an unnamed other leading toothpaste. It is a gel, rather than a paste, that physically breaks the plaque/tooth bond by breaking the plaque up with the baking soda. This toothpaste targets hard-to-reach areas within the mouth to remove plaque residing in between teeth for a more thorough clean.
  • Advanced Whitening – This variety contains more baking soda than the rest to increase the amount of cleaning that occurs. This whole process is aided by the addition of micro-polishers in the toothpaste.
  • Enamel Care – Designed to strengthen your teeth and prevent cavities using a mixture of fluoride and Liquid Calcium to remineralise the teeth. Once again, Arm&Hammer boast the use of baking soda in this product to further enhance the cleaning process.
  • Enamel Care Sensitive – Like the Enamel Care, this toothpaste also contains Liquid Calcium, but as well as strengthening the enamel, it is also used to block the channels to exposed nerves within the teeth.
