Colgate 2 in 1 Kids

2 in 1 Kids is another toothpaste that Colgate has formulated for the teeth of children in the US. This product is not just toothpaste (as indicated by the name) it is also a mouthwash. This combination has been created with the idea that it will give extra oral health protection.
How beneficial is this product?
Colgate 2 in 1 Kids provides protection against the formation of cavities, as seen in the other child-friendly products that are being marketed by Colgate. This is vital to allow growing teeth to be protected and be healthy as they develop. In addition, the mouthwash aspect of this product is included to keep the child’s breath fresh throughout the day.
How is it suited to children?
Colgate 2 in 1 Kids toothpaste/mouthwash is available in two flavours – watermelon and strawberry. This is beneficial as many children dislike the strong, minty flavour of regular toothpaste and they can find it overbearing and unpleasant, which may put them off brushing their teeth in the future. Instead, these fruity flavours make brushing teeth a relatively pleasant experience, which is important in terms of developing the child’s oral health routine.
Furthermore, Colgate market this 2 in 1 product in bright and colourful package that gives the toothpaste a more child-friendly, appealing appearance so tooth brushing seems like less of a chore that they must do.
Recommended Usage
A rather small amount of the toothpaste should be put onto a toothbrush with soft bristles. Teeth should be brushing with Colgate 2 in 1 Kids every day, morning and night, to provide the best protection whilst developing a regular oral health routine that your child can adopt in the future. When the child is old enough and has developed all their adult teeth, they can then be moved on to more regular toothpaste.
