Colgate Sensitive Whitening
Find UK Dentists »
Colgate is aware that many people are looking for whiter teeth to improve the appearance of their smile. They provide other whitening toothpastes, however, this one is especially designed for those who also suffer from sensitive teeth. It can provide relief from the pain symptoms caused by sensitive teeth whilst whitening them in the process. It is currently available on the public market in the US and UK.
Not only does this toothpaste provide whitening effects and pain relief, but it also offers the benefits of normal toothpastes. It fights bacteria, plaque, tartar build up and halitosis. Many consequences of these include tooth decay and gum infection; therefore these are protected against too.
How does it work?
Colgate Sensitive Whitening toothpaste contains an ingredient, which physically breaks down surface stains on the teeth and removes them. This restores the natural whiteness to your teeth to give a healthier, whiter, more youthful smile. This can boost many people’s self-confidence and self-esteem and it significantly cheaper that getting a professional whitening clean at the dentists (although the effects are noticeably different).
Who is this toothpaste suitable for?
This toothpaste is generally suitable for everyone. Despite this, Colgate has been specifically designed Sensitive Whitening for use by people who have sensitive teeth but who desire the whitening effects provided by many other toothpastes designed for normal teeth. This is possible as while the paste whitens the teeth, it also continues to block the nerve signals that make you feel pain caused by sensitive teeth when eating or drinking.
Recommended Usage
Colgate Sensitive Whitening should be used twice everyday as part of your normal oral health maintenance routine. By doing so, you should achieve the desired whitening effect as well as relief from pain caused by sensitivity. Although the pain relief is apparently immediate, the whitening is more gradual and so for the best result in terms of gaining a brighter smile, it should be used over a significant length of time.
