Aquafresh Big Teeth
Find UK Dentists »
When your child reaches 6 years old, Aquafresh rewards them with Big Teeth toothpaste with its extra bright green stripe. It is the final step in this UK only children’s range before moving the child on to pastes more suited to adult teeth.
How is Aquafresh Big Teeth adapted for children over the age of 6?
This toothpaste maintains the 1400 ppm level of fluoride as seen in the Little Teeth toothpaste (considered a medium dose), to uphold the strengthening of tooth enamel and protect against tooth decay. Aquafresh have ensured that this level remains to be suitable for these older teeth by developing the toothpaste with the Department of Health official guidelines.
This toothpaste is just another step that has been made by Aquafresh in ensuring your child is used to a regular teeth cleaning routine as it is also recommended for use every morning and night.
So what is the difference between Little Teeth and Big Teeth?
Aside from the addition of a green stripe to the toothpaste, there is very little difference. The fluoride content is the same, as is the flavour and the aimed for results. However, the Big Teeth toothpaste has been developed in conjunction with Aquafresh Big Teeth Mouthwash. They claim that this is ideal for children aged 6 plus, due to them having teeth of various different sizes and strengths.
