Aquafresh Iso-Active Foaming Gel
Find UK Dentists »
Aquafresh have developed Iso-Active Foaming Gel as it aims to fight the bacteria that live in the 40% of tooth surfaces that are hidden between teeth. The gel changes into foam during brushing due to the temperature of the mouth. This foam can then go on to reach areas of the mouth, which are generally quite difficult and awkward to clean. The result of this is that 25% more bacteria are eliminated from your mouth than after use of normal toothpaste.
How does the foam improve the cleaning quality?
The foam that is produced by the gel after it has undergone the temperature-triggered transformation in the mouth is able to spread through the mouth very effectively. This can ensure that the foam gets between and around individual teeth, which are normally very difficult to reach and clean with a toothbrush and regular toothpaste.
Due to the extent of the mouth that comes in contact with the foam, more tooth surfaces can be subjected to the enamel strengthening qualities of the fluoride as well as the bacteria eliminating aspects. This can provide improved cavity and tooth decay protection as well as further strengthening the enamel and keeping gums healthy (as much of the gums are trapped between teeth and are inaccessible with a toothbrush).
What flavours is Iso-Active Foam Gel available in?
In the UK, Aquafresh supply the gel in Fresh Mint and Citrus Mint.
In the US, there is a choice between Fresh Impact, Deep Impact and Lasting impact.
All the available flavours give the same long lasting, refreshing effects and are suitable for everyone.
Recommended Usage
Aquafresh Iso-Active Foam Gel is designed to replace your regular toothpaste and should be incorporated in your daily oral hygiene routine. You should use the gel twice a day, everyday.
