Comfort of the Inman Aligner

Comfort is a major issue when it comes to dental work, and in fact many of the negative attitudes towards dentistry and its related fields often stem from discomfort as a consequence of visiting the dentist. In this article we look at the comfort of a dental device used to straighten teeth, the Inman Aligner.
Traditional issues with comfort and orthodontics
There have been a number of comfort issues revolving around orthodontic devices, and these have often put people off their use. Traditional braces have caused discomfort for a number of reasons, not the least of which is their size and bulk. Such braces could impede taste and speech as well as cause notable discomfort.
Moreover adjusting the braces on a regular basis could cause discomfort as well. Many of these metallic braces would require tightening during regular orthodontic appointments, and such sessions have become infamous for the discomfort they can cause.
On top of the practical discomfort caused by the use of such braces were issues of comfort with how they looked. Large metallic braces were very visible, and would often lead to issues of comfort with their appearance.
Improved comfort with the Inman Aligner
The Inman Aligner is known for its comfort as well as its effectiveness, and this comfort stems from a number of key innovations in the Aligner’s design. Each Aligner is built based on a mould of your teeth, and the gentle force applied by the product’s trademark aligning bows contributes to the overall comfort experienced while wearing the device.
The Inman Aligner is designed to be significantly less visible than other orthodontic devices, and this can often make people more comfortable in using them. Moreover the reduced size of the Aligner allows for improved comfort while it is being worn.
The Inman Aligner is also removable, so it can be taken off for special occasions where you would rather not wear your orthodontic brace. It also means you can take them off to eat and clean your teeth more comfortably when necessary. That being said, you should ensure that you wear the device for as long as your dentist instructs you to.
The Inman Aligner is designed for all round improved comfort, and will vastly improve the experience of having your teeth straightened for an improved smile. It will naturally take some time to adjust to the presence of the Aligner in your mouth, so don’t be surprise if you feel strange or slightly uncomfortable for the first week or so. During this adjustment phase, you might find that your mouth produces more saliva, or that you experience some discomfort and difficulty with your speech. Again these are a natural part of getting used to having a new structure in your mouth, and you will find yourself accustomed to the Aligners more quickly than you think.
The removable nature of the Inman Aligner can make it tempting to remove the Aligner during the initial adjustment stage. It is important to remember that you will be advised to wear the Aligner for a certain amount of time, and sticking to that advice will actually help you get used to the Aligner more quickly if you weather any initial discomfort.
