Discretion of the Inman Aligner

All of us are familiar with the classic image of bulky metallic braces, a route to straighter, healthier teeth which is unfortunately all too visible for most wearers. These traditional braces would often be the source of a great deal of discomfort in their appearance, which in turn could have a negative effect on the confidence and self-assurance of wearers. Fortunately many orthodontic options have since been developed with discretion and subtlety in mind, and in this article we look at this particular aspect of the use of the Inman Aligner.

Subtlety of the Inman Aligner compared to other orthodontic options

As mentioned in the introduction to this article, discretion is now a major part of the design of many teeth straightening devices and technologies. Invisible braces for example, are a group of products designed to be, as the name suggest, virtually invisible.

The Inman Aligner is significantly less visible than many traditional metallic braces, however when compared to specially designed invisible braces, the Inman Aligner is not quite as discreet and subtle. The Aligner is primarily made up of two aligning bows, one in front of and the other behind your teeth. The forward aligning bow is the part most visible, and while it is a slim metal rod which is much less obvious than clunky metal and wire braces, it is not quite as invisible as the aptly named invisible braces.

The Inman Aligner sacrifices some of the invisibility of other designs to deliver far more rapid results, making treatment less costly and reducing the overall time spent wearing braces of any kind. The single Aligner can in some cases deliver straighter teeth within as little as 6 weeks. The Inman Aligner is also removal, so provided you follow your dentist’s instructions on how long you should be wearing the braces every day, you can remove the Aligner when needed.

Ultimately while the Inman Aligner is quite subtle, it is not the most discreet orthodontic option available to you. For many users however, the convenience of a removable aligner and the speed with which the Inman product can deliver results are a welcome exchange for the increased visibility.
