Levitra and its Dosage

There are 4 main dosages that are used with the drug Levitra. These are;

• 2.5mg
• 5mg
• 10mg
• 20mg

It has advised that when you first start taking the Levitra tablets you should only take 5mg at a time so that you can monitor its effects and make sure that its potential side effects will not go on and do serious harm to your health. If you are 65 or over it advised that you are even more cautious of drug and start your medication on the very lowest dosage possible. The best way to then go on and make sure that the dosage of the drug is suiting your body is by going to your GP and allowing them to assess your results that you have had with Levitra and they can then decide what can be done to make it better.

It is important to remember that the lower the dose of any drug the safer it becomes. This is because if you are unsuitable for the drug then you will only have to endure limited side effects which will occur with a lower dosage.

If you are worried about the cost of Levitra then a good idea is to by the 20mg dosage pills and then cut the pills down to the correct dosage so that you are able to get the drugs for the best possible price. Although you should never take a higher dosage drug before seeking advice from your GP, as they will have put you on the dosage for a particular reason and if you go against this decision you could run the risk of damaging your health.
